Hello crafty friends! Today, I have a fun and inky tag for you. I love the deep yellow/amber with the brown lowlights and the whimsical mannequins! Follow along as I create this step by step!
I began with a 2 1/2 x 8 1/2" piece of Neenah Classic Crest Cover Solar White 110lb cardstock. I started with a long tag because I didn't know how big I wanted my tag to be. I used my We R Memory Keepers Tag Punch to cut the top of the tag.
To get this result, I ink smooshed with Distress Ink. I began with Fossilized Amber and put some on my glass mat. I spritzed it down with water to dilute it, dabbed the paper into the ink, then dried it with a heat tool.
This is the results after repeating the process with Mustard Seed Distress Ink.
I had to add a touch of Vintage Photo in the same manner as the other to inks. I love how the amber and brown look with the yellow! Remember to always dry your paper in between each layer.
I chose this lovely mannequin from Blank Page Muse's Mannequin Dress Form Phrases Keyboard Steampunk Rubber Stamp Set for my main image. I stamped it in black so it would stand out.
Images from Mannequin Dress Form Phrases Keyboard Steampunk Rubber Stampset were added in brown to blend into the background compared to the central image. This is such a fun set!!
Final product! I added a double bow of jute to create some interest to the tag. I love how it turned out. You can find the stamp set I used at Blank Page Muse's website. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
