Hello, my crafty friends! Today, I'm on the Cut It Up Challenge Blog, where we have exciting news! We have reached 1,000 followers! Every two weeks, we have a challenge. This time, it was "add a sentiment." I created this card for my husband. Follow along to see how I did a peak-a-boo sentiment, identical stamping, and stenciling. The card appears very plain at first. This is the inside of the card.

I started with a 110lb, top-folding note card. It's made from Neenah Classic Crest Cover Solar White Cardstock. I first placed the closed card base into my Misti. Then, I stamped my image in Altenew Obsidian Black Pigment Ink. The image is from the new Harvest Bouquet Outline Stamp Set.

I kept the stamp in place, then stamped the inside of the card base with the same image. This way, when you open the card, the images will line up.

I taped down the first stencil of the Harvest Bouquet Layering Stencil Set to the inside of the card base. I love that Altenew keeps their pricepoint down by adding more than one stencil onto a panel. 

Final product after using all layering stencils. I used all Altenew inks in blues and greens. I love their inks because they come in sets of four that are perfect for layered stamping or layering stencils! It definitely takes the guesswork out of choosing colors.

I die cut the shadow die for the word 'greatful' out of the middle of the front panel of the card. To do this, you open the card and die cut the front panel only. I made a mistake here. I cut it out upside down. So, I had to start all over again...

I die cut the word 'greatful' out of Hero Arts Pitch Black cardstock three times. Then, I adhered them together with Gina K Connect Matte Glue. I usually stack up sentiments like this, but here it's necessary to pop up through to the front panel.

Here's the final front of the card. As you can see, I kept the die cut from the shadow die. I adhered it to the inside panel, before attaching the sentiment. That way, it appears to be one solid piece.

Finished inside of the card. To get the sentiment to line up exactly, I closed the card, placed the shadow die cut in place with adhesive on it, held onto it, then opened the card. To finish it off, I added the subsentiment. I used Gina K Sentiment Strip Die Set to cut out "for all you do" from the same stamp set the image is from.
